That man is a genius! I admire his creativity and courage and technical ingenuity. A Chromatic Yamaha Genos/SX900 costs about €7000,- . He makes it for about €2000,-
Maybe he could make a tiltable display by himself, sure he can  ;D .
My best regards,

Thank you, Enildo, for pointing out this video!

Years ago I had the idea to build a Tyros5 or Genos "in the box" (eg from a device with "total physical damage").

But the whole thing is not easy and relatively time consuming, so I have not yet realized this idea ...

Best regards,
Chris

I cried ... when he cut the printed circuit ... but he's truly a genius !! (crazy)

he is the same person as this other video ... where a keyboard a little different from the sx900 appears (there are some more knobs and differences in the components) ... maybe a mix between two keysboards?

Yes, this man is really a genius! :)

His name is "Victor Shevtsov" (Russian "Виктор Шевцов"). Obviously he has already "converted" many different keyboards into a "suitcase version":

Unfortunately, his website "electrobayan.ru" is currently no longer available. Here is an old version of the website (from 2018):

I also found the following page in the forum of the Russian accordion website "www.russian-garmon.ru":

I was very struck by the fact of being able to drive the SX900 (or who knows what else) with an accordion. He is also very good.  Seeing to player an accordion,  and hearing a sax or violin, makes a pleasant impression on me.

Never saw a accordeonist playing 'doo be doo whap', or sax on his accordeon, ans with his selfmade module . Maybe his next project , attack the Bohm Emporio 600SE with his sawblade and fit  it in such a small box.  ;D
Q: do you think he has lost his garantee ?
My best regards,
Ton

Yes, it would be a good business to sell yamaha arranger modules. This has been done by Ketron with its SD90 Module. all the best. Hans

He's got to be a genius.  I'm wondering how he knew how to cut a circuit board without ruining it. And it looks like he has done this with several different keyboards.

I agree, he is a genius, that was no easy feat, and it did just what he wanted it to! I have always wanted to try accordion but I want one with piano keys, all those buttons mean nothing to me LOL!

Now I know where the expression "don't try this at home" came from.  :o

I wonder if he has autism. If you watch the video of him playing the accordion, he is expressionless... shows no emotion at all. There is a large scientific community where I live, and many (most) of those people have autism.  They have very high IQ's but are lacking in "people skills".

Here is another video of him playing the sx900.  This guy is amazing.  It appears that he has wired his accordion with a switch in the middle of his keyboard to advance the registration sequencer... so he can change Voices like that.

Look like he didn't use the 61 keys from the original SX900. I'm wondered if I could buy it for my s970. But then the shipping cost. Oh well,...
