Channel On Off Midi song

PSR SX900:
'Solo' and 'channel off/mute' doesn't seem to be functioning while playing MIDI song from the PC although the 'Pink' lights and 'no lights' respectively come up when touched. It only functions if Midi is played from Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login this a permanent feature or is there a setting?
