Saving OTS or reg voices with SMF Song

I have midi files in User Song section I want to play over with 4 chosen instruments.  Is there a way of saving the midi song, together with voices and melody display channel display number?

You can use a registration to do the midi file, and the voices. OTS won't work as it doesn't save midi files.

The registration won't save the melody channel, though. Your choices there are to use the Auto setting, which works for most midi files, or choose it manually.
