Dears,

For everyone who made a successful attempt to let both the Genos and Cubase talks flawlessly to each other, are you able to use the Genos insert effects inside Cubase? ... I can see the list of Genos voices in Cubase but not the DSP effects. Am I doing something wrong or Genos insertion effects aren't just yet supported by Cubase?

Thanks

PS: I've made the configuration exactly as per to this video.

Hi,

I think your best bet is to set up all the voices with the effects you want on Genos internal midi recorder and then export it to a midi file that you import in Cubase.
I have tried both methods and I have been more successful with the later one.

Best regards

Thanks for your reply.

That's exactly what I'm currently doing. I use insertion effects in the Genos mixer and record accordingly. I was just curious if I just record my raw song and tweak everything (edit, FX insert, mix, master) in one place in cubase. Of course, I can apply VST effect plugins but I just need to fully utilize my Genos and use its DSP effects. After all, hardware effects are always better.
