My friend had a Style on his keyboard which I  loved.. So he stuck his USB stick into my PSR 970 and i copied that Style into the User Section of my Keyboard. Then he took his USB stick out and popped my USB Stick  into my Keyboard and  I went to "USER" and there it was ! So I tabbed across to "USB" and hit "Save"  I am highly delighted.  This information is probably "old hat" to  most of our members, but I post it in the hope that someone just starting out will find it helpful.

Hi YammyFan,

you first have LOADED that Style on your Keyboard and then newly SAVED it.

There is also another simple method: In Style Selection display, press COPY first, then select a Style (or several Styles, if desired) and press OK. Now tab to the destination drive, if needed select (open) the desired folder (or create a new folder) and finally press PASTE to copy the original file(s) to the new location. :)

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Yes, this is the cool thing about Yamaha arrangers. We are not limited to use only the preset styles, but can import orher styles. On the home page of PSR Tutorial, press the styles banner, and you can find thousands of styles. You can also buy style sets from the Support section. Have fun!!😀
