Where does the time go when your creating registrations and arrangements for your songs ?

Agreed ... I sat down at 8:30 last night just to try something out, and the dog had to wait until 11:30 for his walk ...

I have to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to stop. Otherwise, I will miss or be late for an appointment. "I'm dreadfully sorry, but I was engrossed in developing a song on my keyboard thingy", always sounds so pathetic.

For years I needled my wife about putting things on to cook, then wrecking them while getting distracted doing something else.

One day I put a pot on the electric range to boil some water and thought I would check something out on the keyboard while waiting. Eventually, I remembered about the pot and rushed to the kitchen and found that the pot had boiled dry and the bottom layer completely melted off the pot and a shiny lake of melted metal on the range top and metal dripped down into the burner element and burner well.

Amazingly, I was able to pick the cooled metal free from everything leaving no damage to the range, just wrecked the pot.

Now I am much kinder about my wife's cooking mishaps.

I don't know where the time goes, but I'm certain it isn't in my burner wells.
