You can also use MuseScore, Notation Composer and several other music notation programs to accomplish this task.  :)

Here's a link to an article I wrote about MuseScore, in February 2016, which describes the process of converting a midi file to a lead sheet.  MuseScore is a free music notation program.  :)

You're welcome, Ivtec.  I'm sorry, but I simply don't have the time to fulfill your request at the present time.  You can accomplish this using MuseScore and the online manual.  :)

Hi,

I haven't been using MuseScore much, but I managed to create a lead sheet. When you import a midi, you will need to choose one that has all the melody notes on one channel - or at least mine had. If not you might have to cut and paste across to get them all on the one.

When you open a midi, the import window will open at the bottom of the screen. Unselect all the channels and then just pick the melody. It will bring in the lyrics if there are any and chord symbols. It is pretty amazing to be honest, though it does sometimes miss out some of the chord symbols.

Hope that helps
