When I look at the list of items on the registration settings, the very first one is "song".  So I made the assumption that I can save a song on one of my eight registrations for live use.  I quick recorded about a 10 second chord progression and saved it in the User area.  Then I selected the song, unchecked all but "song" in the registration settings and hit one of the numbers.  It didn't save.  I expected to be able to just hit that number and the song would play.  What did I do wrong or do I even have the right idea?  Still a noobie here  :P

Registrations simply automate what you can do manually.

When you load a midi, does it start playing immediately? No, you have to hit play. Same with a registration.

Just like a style, you can trigger the play with a chord, but you still have to trigger the play after loading it.

OK, so you are telling me that it loads the song but I still have to push "play".  Makes sense.  Thank you Fred!!!
