I've noted over here that I can browse in ANY style part from ANY style into ANY style section right onboard my PSR S770! Listening live to the results as I do it. No measure length, beat or time signature differences or any other issues. Everything fits and works on the fly. I can even browse intro or endings or fills or breaks into ordinary style sections.

I am busy creating the most FANTASTIC styles for my Yamaha!!! My Yamaha just became MUCH more alive. Soon it will be just as much souped up as my Audya is.

It is good to know that members discover things that their models can do and didn't know about.
Sometimes when you have the time take a look at some random posts.
There are lot of stuff discussed there about features, functions,"tricks" and ideas about how to take advantage of our keyboards functions, without someone has to be a tech freak or a music theory specialist :)

Rolf Lindell

I have the same keyboard. Would you consider sharing your beautiful styles?

beykock

I would be honoured and grateful to receive these styles too. :)
Maybe the owner/creator is willing to upload them here ... who knows ? ;)

Henni,
big job and indeed outstanding styles which I also am interested in. I have a PSR-S970 and I think they will fit too.
So, if you plan to share your nice collection I would appreciate it.
Have a wonderful time with your S770 !!

They have ALL been modified EXTENSIVELY. Changed the voicing, added bits and pieces from other styles, shifted sections around in existing styles, added voices from my custom (modified) pack which includes some of the best voices I could find on the internet.

I spent much time converting these as I cannot currently upgrade to a newer model for now & this way my S770 becomes like a new model at least for the time being.

For those interested, here are the same styles before modification - it will give you an idea of what was done to them.

Henni

Hi all,

I've now had quite a few requests for these styles as they are really good, even if I have to say so myself.

Today I decided to make them available commercially. (Because they use voices from my modified pack, I wasn't sure how I was going to handle it. However, this morning I came up with an acceptable solution)

I am retired without any income whatsoever, hence the time on hand to create these. This just might be be a worthwhile hobby for me as I will create/optimize a great many more. I will keep the price low so that all can afford.

I posted the following in the boxnet folder that host these demos:

How to purchase

Cheers,

How many stys are available now ?
Did you make a list ?
Can you upload this list ?
Can we expect more in the near future ?

Thank you for your reply, Henni !

Henni

Hi,

23 In total as per the demos above. Yes, I have had unexpected response to these styles, so I will definitely continue to make many more. For now my list will be the demos available over here or in my boxnet folder.

My favourite genres are

1. Ballad
2. Rock
3. Country

If anyone prefers something else, let me know so I can optimize a few of those.

All the best my friends,

Hi Henni
Great sound as usual from a very talented player.
I totally agree with you if you want to sell your style. You have done a lot with sharing for free and will continue surely but it understable to sell it because it cost a lot of time.
To create one style from scratch you need to spend more than 5 hours ont it
To modify an existing style circa 3 hours. I created style to and i know what you are talking about. I hope you keep providing such great styles and upgrade your Keyboard to provide high quality styles for TOTL.
Kind regards my friend

Henni

Thank you so much for the kind words my friend - I really appreciate. I am waiting for feedback from my first customers for these. Hopefully they'll give some feedback over here.

Now I can focus on some more styles again. Today was spent mostly getting everything ready, uploading some files and mailing styles.

Keep well all,
Henni

Hi Henni :

Thanks for your offer !

I prefer to wait before placing any order.

It sounds like these nice styles are custom made for the
PSR S770.

Perhaps other Tyros5 owners are willing to share their impressions and/or comments.

Best wishes,

Babette

Hi Henni :

Maybe it might be useful and helpful to upload here one single custom made style to give all arranger keyboard owners the chance to hear the final result.

If the quality results are very good, your commercial self made styles business could become a real success,
why not ?🔔

IMHO the feedback of your potential customers is the best marketing tool to become a successful business man.🎈

From a Genos owner:

Quote from: Genos owner/ Customer"Hi sound wizard,
Now i have the pack. Thank you my south african friend.
I tried very quick a few styles. They are great.
Please continue with your good work.
Maybe another idea. A few good old rock 'n roll and twist styles or blues.
Kind regards,
A happy customer from belgium"

Herewith an update:

All of the styles works flawlessly on the Genos. However, NOT so on the Tyros 5 and then obviously not so on the Tyros 4 also.

I am rather AMAZED as I considered these models as being FAR superior to my baby S770. I am busy ironing out all the problems and for the time being will not consider taking any more style orders for these two models.

Once fixed (within the next day or two) I'll upload the updated demos for these specific models. If they sound just as good, I'll continue. In the mean time, I will ONLY consider PSR S770, S775, S970, S975 & Genos owners as it seems that all of these styles play perfect on those models without any modifications whatsoever.

If for some obscure reason I cannot get the styles to sound as good as the demos on these other two models within the next day or two, I'll refund those styles in full to those who purchased it. I am already communicating with all who might be effected.

Cheers all,

Henni

I feel very sorry to hear this sad news.

Hi Henni,
Tyros 4 & 5 are older than yur s770.I think they don't have the same voices and maybe they are missing a drum kit?

Henni

Yes,

I only now discover that. I sorted out one T5 customer. One to go.

Please inform me, does it store YEM in the same way as my S770? If I have the LSB & MSB numbers for my pack voices, will the same pack use the same addressing on the T5?

I.O.W. would the same addressing below be relevant in the Tyros 5 using the same pack? If not, can I modify the style with anything to suit? Is there a certain fixed address offset or anything else fixed to go by?

All the best,

Henni

Sorry Henni,I don't know much about those LSB & MSB things because my keyboard doesn't support YEM.I just thought that this might be the problem because I have to revoice styles made on other models.Of course revoicing just a few styles it is easy for me as I just use my ears to find a suitable voice.
Though to do it without having the specific model to test and hear the result,it will require I guess other procedure like you said.

Maybe someone who knows about these stuff can help you revoice the styles for the Tyros

Joe H

Henni,

Question: Do your styles use a custom Voice pack for different Voices?

I'm a bit confused... I thought you were selling your remixed styles.

Henni

Hi Joe H,

As you can hear in the demos, some of those human voices are not standard. As such a few styles use voices from this custom pack.

I have modified some styles to sound very similar using onboard Tyros 5 voices - Luckily the one T5 owner did not order too many styles so it took me only three ours or so to fix everything.

As far as I understand from the other Tyros 5 owner, he just managed to install the custom pack into his T5 and seemingly everything is located in the proper location - BUT!!! I need final confirmation on that.

I have modified Midiplayer to convert ANY Yamaha model voices to any other model voice, so it was quite easy to fix the rest of the missing T5 voices.

So yes, to answer your question, I am not SELLING my custom pack. I am offerering it for free to those that purchase more than a few styles as I've collected all those voices for free on the internet.

I am now converting all those styles to sound as close to original using only onboard voices for those that could not be bothered by the pack. All of those can then easily be modified to work on any of the Tyros series.

When I'm done, I'll upload some new style demos using standard onboard voices only. However, this is going to take more than only a few hours.

Cheers,
Henni

Joe H

Henni,

Thanks for the clarification. Having made some styles of my own and modified many more,  I would just like to say to folks here than your $3.00 USD per style is a VERY reasonable price.  They should not hesitate or complain about the price.

:)

Hi Guys :

Michael Bedesem, Joergen Soerensen and many others are NEVER selling software here.

Their very useful programs and updates are always FREE OF CHARGE.

Almost every member of this forum is using their programs frequently.

Thanks to all these volunteers the Yamaha arranger keyboards became very popular.

Most of us are retired and many need extra income but SELLING here converted styles - BTW, originally made by others, ( copyright ? ) - might be a bridge too far and is even absolutely wrong, IMHO.
