Can I adjust the chord timing on my PSR S770 to only change at the next measure or at least not immediately?

No, I don't think so - the chord change detection happens in real time.

Tx, I thought as much. I can't remember which, but one of my previous arrangers had a utility where you you could actually set this, making my chord change timing near perfect - something I still find extremely hard to do, even after all these years...

On the Tyros, there was a setting for OTS Change -- immediate or next measure.

Perhaps there is on PSRs as well. Check under Utility to see if there's a setting for it.

Hi
Yes, you have an option in style playback page 27 of the reference manual which allows you to change from real time to next bar (OTS link timing).
"This applies to the OTS Link function. This parameter determines the timing
in which the One Touch Settings change with the MAIN VARIATION
[A]–[D] change. (The [OTS LINK] button must be on.)
REAL TIME: One Touch Setting is immediately called up when you
press a MAIN VARIATION button.
NEXT BAR: One Touch Setting is called up at the next measure, after
you press a MAIN VARIATION button."
Hope this is what you were after.

Tx for the feedback everyone. I know about this feature, it effects the rh and lower voice changes only. I want to quantize my live playing chord changes by changing chords just a fraction early and let the arranger time it properly.
