Hello everybody,

there is an updated version (V3.13.0) of Producer available.

As the new version provides some fixes and improvements in stability it is recommended to update to this version.

The main changes are:

    - Added support for PSR-S670 keyboards.
    - Added toolbar icon for calling sequencer.
    - Added import of BIAB files.
    - Added drag-and-drop functionality for midi files.
    - Renamed chord "1+2+5" to "sus2".
    - Allow backspace key for editing tempo and volume cells.
    - Better handling of the play cursor.
    - Show dedicated message box when midi device could not be opened.
    - Fix: Sometimes playing a midi file crashed.
    - Fix: When Producer is started by dropping a file, the default directory for the open dialog is not set.

The program should run on all Windows versions (32bit and 64bit) beginning with Windows XP.

It can be downloaded here:

Special thanks to all testers for their support.

If there are any problems or suggestions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hello Peter :

Many thanks for this great update !💥
Fantastic job ! 👏

Wishful thinking ?
Instead of inserting chords in the arranger keyboard, it would be a dream if the chord input could be done in the program
( pc ) instead of the keyboard.
It would save a lot of time and avoid consumer mistakes, IMHO.

Your comments would be very much appreciated.
Thank you very much.

Best regards, Babette

Hello Babette,

thank you for the nice words about my work.

Can you please explain a little bit more in detail what you want to do?

You already can input chords in the program. This is one of the main use cases.

For example, to create a new song from scratch perform the following steps:
1. From the menu select "File \ New" and then select a file which matches your keyboard and the time signature.
2. In the main grid on the screen just double click on any cell of the row named "Chord".
3. Select the chord to be inserted.

Repeat step 2 and 3 for some other cells.
After this you can click on the play button to listen to the result.

Best regards,
Peter

That is a nice feature, Peter !
Is that a new feature in Producer ?

Sorry if I am wrong but in the past we were obliged to insert chords in the keyboard by using the step by step keyboard recording system.

A system nobody likes, as far as I remember. 👅

Plse advise. Thank you, Babette

Hello Babette,

the main purpose of Producer is to create a step record file and insert the chords on the PC, instead on the keyboard.
Therefore it is not a new feature.

If your keyboard is connected to the PC you can also play the step record file on the PC and get the sound from the keyboard.

You can find more information about Producer on my website:

Hi Peter :

Thanks for your reply. :)

Is it possible to import ( in Producer ) a style from a USB stick or another source like e.g. the T5HD ?
If so, plse be so kind to let me know how I have to proceed.

Your ( fast ) reply would be very much appreciated. :D

Thanks and best regards, Babette ( Tyros5 )
