Herewith I would like to thank you so much for all your efforts.👍

It is my intention to start with your program once you have finished MM2 completely.

For the time being I will continue to work with XGWorks Pro for midi recording and Sonar for audio recording.
I have no alternative, IMHO.

In the near future I hope MM2 can replace XGW.
That would be wonderful. 😁

Do you know that Sonar is now released as Cakewalk by Bandlab and is entirely free to use without any restrictions whatsoever?

Secondly Cakewalk can record Midi as well as audio.

What I have been experimenting with is using Midi Maker to create a basic backing track, then using that backing track and adding extra content such as multi pads and melody notes and then recording all of that into Cakewalk along with my vocals.

I am still working with Sonar Platinum due to my VST collection.

I am using Sonar P for audio recording only.

I like to make my midi recordings in XGWorks.

As I said before, I am hoping your program will become my next midi recording prog.

FYI Cakewalk by Bandlab will work with all previous VSTs that work in Sonar. Cakewalk by Bandlab is Sonar Platinum as far as I understand, just released under another name since Sonar was discontinued.

Regarding using Midi Maker to record, you will be disappointed to know that that is not the purpose of my program.

The purpose of Midi Maker is to produce a backing track and to play that backing track to the keyboard by controlling the keyboard style - no less no more.

To record the output, you will need to use your current recording methods such as to Sonar or, in my case, to my mixer which can record any input directly.

New features which may appear in Midi Maker in the future will be targeted at producing a backing track in an easier way or making the program more user friendly. I hope this clears up your misconception of what the program does.
