I have purchased around $600 of Yamaha MIDI songs, around 100 songs. Some are $4 both most are $8
They are excellent, though some are less so.
Some come with the 4 markers programmed in
But others have no markers

How do I edit the markers that exist in the MIDI
and How do I add markers to songs that are not presently there?
I use T4 as a drum machine. Playing my own acmp and bass. MIDI songs are my latest interest. If anyone wishes to share knowledge on MIDI songs let me know.

In MixMaster,

Open file

To edit existing events:
    Select ListView screen
In View tab, Check Pointers and Invert
Right Click event and Edit a Selected Event, edit then Modify

To add a new event
In Insert PSR Cmd tab, select Song Position Pointer
Modify the Measure-Beat-Ticks, select Song Position Pointer number, and Insert.

In the manual, search for "pointer" for references there.

Michael

Thank you for such a quick response.

Old age is catching up... I already own MixMaster on the PC!

Ok I inserted flash drive where MIDI's reside.
Before I go on, is there a tutorial on MixMaster?

I click Manual in Help  and no results!
Thank you kindly

The manual is pretty extensive.

In 19.1 there is a Manual option in the top bar. Clicking the With It You Can section and the following Table of Contents give you some ideas what is available.

Also click the "Can I..." in the top bar for some typical uses.

Every event in the file is displayed in the List View. The other views (Note View, Voice View, etc) allow you to target specific areas of the file for editing and often much easier to use for these changes. Just start the program and open a file and click around. You can't hurt anything and as long as you don't Save, nothing is overwritten.

Note: Casm View and the others to the right on the view control bar are really not the same kind of editing views.

I do not know what could be wrong. It is in my copy of version 19.1 You might want to reinstall.

Otherwise you can get copies of the Manual from here:

Can I  is attached.
