Hi,

Midi files should be type 0 but sounds like you have save it in Midi Type 1 maybe try to save it again as Midi type 0 ,  or if you know anyone with Cubase you can dissolve a midi file down to all the separate tracks

Your keyboard should load and play both type 0 and 1 MIDI files, but it shouldn't change the format of the existing file on the USB drive, unless you save the song from the keyboard's player back to the USB.

Presumably you have saved the song from the keyboard to the USB at some point, unless of course the song was type 0 to begin with!

Here is an extract about exporting SMF MIDI files from the Reason10 sequencer, from the following link (which presumably is the Reason10 manual) :
http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason10/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm#context=EngOpManProjectPro&file=SongFileHandling.19.7.html

• The MIDI file will be of Type 1, with one MIDI track for each track in the Reason sequencer.  The tracks will have the same names as in the Reason sequencer.

• Since the Reason sequencer doesn't use MIDI channels as such, all tracks will be set to MIDI channel 1.

Note the distinction between 'tracks' and 'channels'.

Wow, that's backwards from what Cubase does— it puts all channels on one track!

I guess after you import the MIDI file into Reason, you need to manually change the channel that each track is set to.
