Hi Lloyd, If you mean the Stagepas system well I've just bought this system last week! I am using it for playing CDs from my laptop for sequence and ballroom dances that I run. I have been using the Stagepas 400i for the past 8 months and that was fine but the 600 system has better sound dispersion and I find I don't need to have it so loud to be heard at the back of the hall - it depends on how big the venue is of course. The 600 also has 3 equaliser settings as opposed to 2 on the 400, and having that extra (middle frequencies) setting means that I can soften down some of the more percussive sounds better than I could with the 400. I have only used it once last week but I found it very good and easy to set up (for dummies like me!) The bluetooth is a bonus, there was no problem for the 2 and 1/2 hour dance.
I have also been using the 400i with my Tyros 5, only at home, and I am keeping that as a back up to the 600BT. The Tyros 5 sounds just great through the system but I don't do gigs.
Overall I would say they both have a good sound and are easy to set up. The 600 is rather heavier than the 400 but manageable for one person. You can pick up covers at a reasonable price on the internet.
Hope this helps, Pam

Thanks Pam, that was very useful.   Lloyd

i have the older stagepas 500 and I still like it I don't use it much since getting 2 bose compacts and 2 bose s1 pros. I just can't bring myself to sell a piece of gear that will work anywhere and sound that good. A little heavy but still a great pa.
