I've been a Mixcraft Pro user since version 6. In my opinion it's a very easy DAW to use. And while it may not have all of the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive DAWs, Acoustica keeps improving it with each release, and I look forward to seeing what they add to the next version!

I notice that they've integrated Celemony's Melodyne tuning software, which I own, with their program.  That is a very nice addition to their package.

If I remember correctly, they added Melodyne in version 8; and they added the Performance Panel (for triggering "scenes" or clips/loops with a pad controller a la Ableton Live) and support for 64-bit processing and plug-ins in version 7.

Agreed. I downloaded the trial version and in less than 10 minutes I was able to setup audio, midi...Tried some midi recordings  VST instruments - great selection. I'm going to use that coupon this eve and get the licensed version.

I had all intentions of purchasing mixcraft yesterday.
On the site they it said that the sale was until 5/31.
Went to purchase from my home PC in the eve and the sale was over.
I have sent out a note thru their contact form asking why the sale price was removed even though I was trying to purchase on 5/31.
They should have made the change at midnight or may be at 2am or 3am on 06/01.
