Who is satisfied with the YEM software. It works great to load your sample packs, but for sound editing it is far too cumbersome to quickly edit a sound.
If a majority of Yamaha customers is not satisfied with this software, why does Yamaha not come up with a better solution?
just like on the MX and Motif series with the I-Pad apps.

That's OK if they develop i-pad apps... but lets not forget a major PC software upgrade as well.

I certainly agree. Until new software that is easier and faster than the present I simply will not use it.  Lloyd

Too bad.  :o
As I see it, the only thing YEM are useful for is to export expansion and sample packs from PC into Genos.
Even that feature is a bit 'old fashion' and timeconsuming, as you have to reload entire content each time new items added.  ::)

Because Yamaha knows that the majority of Genos owners just want to sit down and play a song or two. MX and Motif is a different ball game for them.

it is strange that the Genos with the I-Pad App: Faders (made for Motif Xf and MoxF), responds to: filters, Eq, resonance, reverb, Panning, balance, etc, etc.
It should still be possible to also develop an app to control and save all synth parameters on the genos.
I still have the idea that Yamaha does not take the Arranger customers seriously and wants to invest very little in this.

Thats exactly what Bonedo says in their review of the Genos..
And one of the main reasons the Genos gets 4.5 and not 5 stars..
