Hi all, this is perhaps a very simple question. How can I erase a registration?

It depends one which keyboard you have, and what specifically you want to do.

To erase a registration file (what Yamaha calls a registration bank), you can just delete it.

Or, if you want to empty each registration in a bank, that can also be done.

If you want to empty the current registration bank, just power on holding down the second highest white key.

Hi Fred, thanks for your answer. I have a PSR S950, and want to erase the numbers 3 to 8 in a bank. In fact is the only one that I use.
Best regards.

1. Load your registration bank.
2. Press Edit (8 down button)
3. Select the registration you want deleted (eg, #3).
4. Press Delete (5 down button).

Repeat for the other registrations. Then save the bank.

This procedure is detailed on Page 76 of the 950 Reference Manual.
