No, it hasn't wheels.
But is ok for me, I'm just 40 now!
The important thing is to protect the keyboard and it has a lot of soft protection...

Thanks,
Pedro

Thanks ckobu. Because of your pictures, I ordered this Gator model!!
I won't flight with my Genos, it is just to carry from my apartment to the car, and the car to the studio/gig location in town.

Pedro

I bought Thomann's Voyager bag and is awesome!

Hi,
I read on the site that the case is 1220 x 470 x 130 mm. And the Genos is 1234 mm...
a mistake ?
I hesitate between two models, this one and the Gator G-PG-76.

Thomann site does have a few mistakes in the details.
That Gator bag says at bottom 'suitable for Tyros5-61!
So, if Thomann bag description is correct, will be a tight fit. Personally, I'd rather have a bit extra, as the end corners are vulnerable if dropped!
I see Vali reviewed it on their site, too. He will come back and comment on the 'fit', I'm sure.
I bought the Yamaha SCC bag from Thomann .. they are currently asking me to review it!
This one has over 25mm firm padding around each end.

😊  I started out with nothing .. and I've got most of it left!  😊

🎹 Tyros 5-76,  now the brilliant Genos 🎹
Genelec 8030C Studio Monitors on K&M stands
K&M Spider Pro Stand, K&M Accessories. I love K&M!

I purchased this one from Thomman and had it sent all the way to USA because could not find a US distributor.

It fits Genos very well, it has wheels and extra bags for stuff.

I like it.

Yinon

Hi Everyone,

I know this is an old thread but rather than opening a new one, I thought it will be better to resurrect this one.

I'm about to order a case for my Genos. (In the US)
Since few months passed since the last message here, I'm wondering if there is anything new in the hard case arena?

Al - How is the Soundwear working out? Is it holding?

Thanks

Al Ram

Hello,

Yes,  the soundwear is working fine for me.  I like it because of the wheels, which make it easy to transport.   You do not have to carry it.

Although lately i have been thinking of getting a rolling cart.

So far so good.

Thank you both.
How much did it cost you if I may ask?
How long did the shipping take?

Thanks

Hi Yinon,

The price of Soundwear Stagebag Genos is $151 plus a flat shipping $34, a total of $185:
https://www.thomannmusic.com/soundwear_stagebag_genos.htm?ref=search_prv_14

It usually takes 2 to 3 days for Thomann Music to process your order, then they will ship it through DHL in Germany and export it to the U.S., your item will have to go through U.S. Customs such as the one at Chicago IL, then passed to US Postal Services to deliver to you.  It usually takes 2 weeks to get the product to your door, sometimes sooner, sometimes later.  I had 2 packages shipped to me at the same time, one arrived 13 days after I ordered it, the other one arrived 23 days after I ordered it (I had to request for search of the 'missing' item before USPS finally shipped me the second package).

Thanks,
Paul

The Soundwear is about 130 Euros plus about 30 for shipping.   I could not find it anywhere in the USA, so i had to order from Thomann in Europe.

It took like 3 weeks to arrive.

thanks

I have this bag, too, and I'm very happy with it. It's great for Genos and can handle other keyboards. I purchased it from Thomann on-line and had it shipped to the USA.

All the best -- pj

Yes emmaco, it fits... I have this model and it is perfect. Very soft material inside.
