I normally use MS OneDrive as a repository for my PDF's and then access via WiFi from my iPad and download the PDF's to SongBook+.

As you may know, yesterday OneDrive was down around the world and I was temporarily not able to connect.   Users were getting an error message with no explanation.  Just that OneDrive was not available.  I did not know if my computer or my account was the problem.   Just that it was not available.

That incident made try to use iCloud drive as an alternative.   I was able to use iCloud and successfully accessed PDF's from my iPad connecting to my iCloud account via wifi.  I accessed the iPad file folder and from there iCloud Drive.

However, when trying to download the PDF's to OneSong+, this app did not show as an iCloud Drive option to open-in or copy-to.

I have read the iCloud instructions and the OneSong+ user manual.  I also went to the Apple store and still not able to have OneSong+ show as an option in iCloud Drive.

I am sure that a lot of people in this forum, are already accessing iCloud Drive PDF's via WiFI and saving to OneSong.

I am fairly new to iPads, so i really do not know what i am doing wrong or missing.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

tanks in advance.

I've just had a look at iCloud on this iPad that I'm using and it would appear that you only get 5GB free. I use Google Drive as my "repository" for music books and I download them into forScore as and when I need them. I get 15GB free and I've used 5 of that to hold what is now a fair-sized Library.

Alan
thanks a lot.

Yes, i also have a Google Drive account with 15GB free. In addition to my MS OneDrive where i have 100GB of free storage until the end of 2018.  After that i will get only 5GB.

I use Google Drive for my personal stuff such as family pics, etc.   I use OneDrive for my music PDF's only.

I was just trying to learn how to use iCloud but do not really need it for my music right now.

thanks for your note, have a great day.

I am the mirror image of yourself. I store my pictures in folders on OneDrive and my music pdfs on Google Drive. You pays your money, you takes your choice - or as in our cases, you don't pay your money.

Have a great holiday my friend. Alan
