is there any possibility to create our own mulitpad using a wav file loop,

for example , i have a loop file of a particular percussion, can i able to add it in multipad creation?

Yes, if your keyboard supports audio link multipads.

Another good reason to post to the correct board so we would know what keyboard you have, and be able to answer your question better.

Thanks for the reply , Yes, i tried using Audio link to create a multi pad. however i am unable to change the scale or tempo of the Multi pad section when performing to my desired style.

my intention is to create a multi pad by copying any rhythm section of style file.
i know we can compose multi pad in the same way style creation. but if there is a way to copy the rhythm section of a particular style , it will be more convenient to create multi-pads instead of composing with long duration.

Kindly suggest me if we have anything such in PSR S770 Keyboard.

An audio link multipad is a WAV file. Such a  multipad can only be played back exactly as it is - you cannot transpose it or time stretch it.

You mean a bit like style assembly, create a midi multipad from one of the style parts?

I think that Midi multipads can only be created by recording your R1 performance.

Although you can't create MIDI multi pads from styles or MIDIs on the keyboard, you can do this on your computer using programs such as Michael Bedesem's 'PadMaker' (for styles), and 'PadMakerMidi' (for MIDIs and existing Multi Pads).

Thank you for posting the link to my article.  There are also thousands of MIDI drum and percussion loops on the internet which you can convert to Multi Pads.  Another option is to buy the Magic Dance pack from Easy Sounds.  It has lots of drum and percussion Multi pads.

Is there a way to loop thru the wav file used as an audio link when invoked thru multipad ?

If you know how to convert an audio WAV drum loop to a Rex2 sliced file. Then they will sync to the keyboard clock (tempo).

Another way is to create your own MIDI drum loop on the keyboard using Style Creator.  You can quantize it, save it as a style file and use PadMaker to convert the MIDI to a Multi Pad.
