I'm hearing a lot of good things about the QSC K8 and K10 speakers. Has anyone used them with PSR 910,950,or 970 Kb's. Ron

Come on Don M., Gary D., someone please respond to this post. Help me!, read the specs. and reviews and give me an opinion. Somebody must have tried them out. Thanks, Ron

I had a pair of QSC K-12's.
They are awesome!
They are 1000 watts RMS.
I am now older and have sold my K-12's because I had to lug speaker stands too.
There is a "deep" setting on the speakers that made it so I did not need a sub woffer.

Thanks Gerard, Yes the K series are very good.

Hi Ron,

I just purchased a set of the new QSC K12.2 with built in adjustable DSP. I  Love them. Playing them with my Tyros 4 with EQ on keyboard set to Flat and the DSP on speakers set to LIVE. The clarity and sound is awesome.

Hope this helps.

Ron,the quality is OK, but keep in mind they are conventional speakers and do not have the attributes of a line array system. They are not remotely close to the Bose L1 or L1 Compact, Maui systems, etc... The falloff is nearly 50 percent at 100 feet, where the falloff with the Bose L1 is less than 10 percent at 100 feet. The spacial coverage is about 45 degrees,  where the Bose is 210 degrees. The clarity is pretty good, but no where near the clarity of the Bose or Maui systems.
