Playscore2 - has anyone tried it?

Hello musical friends!
I am working with joining a band. They use sheet music, and everyone gets their part of the piece printed out on a sheet. The problem is that i cannot read sheet music because I have very little eyesight. Then there is 2 options left for me:
1. Someone in the band has to play my part and record it, and give the recording to me so that I can practice my part at home.
2. There is an app called Playscore2, that converts sheet music into MIDI, so that you can hear the notes! I have tried the free version on my iPhone. It turns out to be a little unstable, but the paid version is probably better. So my question is: Has anyone tried this app and can say if it is any good? And maybe the MiDI file made by the app can be played on my Genos? That would be awesome!

I've got the paid version of Playscore2 but rarely use it as the conversions generally contain too many errors.

Have a look at Soundslice. It'll do everything you want to do and a lot more.

Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

I have hundreds of PVG scores which contain melody clefs and lyrics. I don't need these - I want just the piano parts. I can export the Soundslice conversions into Musescore via the export XML function and then I can remove the melody clef and lyrics leaving just the piano treble and bass clefs. Once you've got an XML conversion, you can of course do the opposite if you want to ie remove the piano parts and leave the melody clef and lyrics.

I don't do any MIDI conversions but, as the source information will be the same, these should be as accurate as the XML versions.

You can convert 2 PDF single pages per month in the free version. So it's basically a free trial.
