Hi friends,

I created a nice music with my keyboard (PSR-E373) in-build sounds and styles  :)

but the problem is when i want to record my music then i can't playing whole song without any mistake :(

like: timing in playing notes and also some notes need a louder sound and some notes need lowers sound,
and finally need to exact play on the rythm speed...
but im not pro at playing with keyboard without any mistakes.
now im stuck at how to record like a professional music.

i using FL studio for direct sound recording but really hard to record all of my song (around 5 minutes) without mistake.

An idea came to my mind: to create a MIDI file from the notes of my song, then import it into the keyboard, and then play this file with the keyboard sounds, but I don't think it's possible to play the MIDI file with the desired keyboard sounds. and also my song have dual voice and etc.

thanks.

You can record the song 4 or 5 times all the way through.

Then take those recordings into Audacity (free recording program)

You can easily splice together the best sections of each recording to make a perfect sounding song.

Here is a link to Audacity if you want to use it.

Thank you for your suggestion. but by the way i used this method in my another songs created before  8)
(recording it for example around 15 minutes and then import it in editing software and then cut, paste, delete some parts and then combine together and export it as final song.

this method its not too bad but i thought maybe a better/faster and more precisely way can be exist for recording like a midi file or somthing..

anyway if not exist another ways i will again use that way for record my song.
thanks.

Oh, this is very familiar! I play a song 10 times without one single mistake. Then I start the recorder, and the first note I play is wrong! Or all goes fine until the last measures, then I hit a wrong key! But I keep on going until everything sounds right. I always record in MIDI first, so I could edit it, but it is more fun to practice the song even if it sometimes is time consuming. I record a lot of songs, many of them are my own compositions. But that does not mena that I don't make mistakes when playing them.

I'm in the same boat you're in Toril.

As soon as I hit record, it seems the wheels fall off the train.

I keep at it 'til I get it done right. I think it's great to practice under all the pressure to get it perfect the first time. Eventually you'll find that recording in one or two takes becomes easier

Fortunately I am not the only one with this problem. I am certainly not a pro but I play quite well but as soon as I have to let someone, always family, hear it, it goes wrong. Wrong notes, wrong chords, out of rhythm etc.

Recording for me is like stage fright. As soon as I hit record, I have a brain fart and mess it up LOL!

It happens to a lot of us. I've been there countless times too. I can play something perfectly a number of times, but as soon as l hit record 🤬. I think we get ourselves worked up and almost expect to make a mistake, so the inevitable happens.
