Downloading files from 'PSR Tutorial Home' no longer working...

Will we be able to download files from the original PSR tutorial site at https://psrtutorial.com/ again? At the moment there is just a 404 Not Found returned, is this maybe related to yesterday's site glitch and just temporary... hopefully?

I think the announced maintenance for the PSR Tutorial main site (https://psrtutorial.com) is not yet completely finished, and it will soon be accessible again as usual.

I'd seen the site down yesterday and just figured it was maintenance, I didn't realise it was scheduled. So thanks for that link, I hadn't seen it. Delete my message if you like.

I've just discovered I can populate registrations/playlists with MFD files and was hoping to get a few from the site.

Hi Mary

Just download all the Fake Books on this page and save them to a USB drive. https://psrtutorial.com/lessons/playing/mf/94_FBMFDs.html

The Tyros collection seemed to work OK with the SXseries keyboards better than the S950 so use those ones.

Then open the playlist and your keyboard will convert them to a TSV file which you can open and play .. I used them a lot with my SX900 but bear in mind that they are the same as the old Music Finder so they use the preset styles only on your keyboard.

Here is a link to the PSR Tutorial page with Music Finder (MFD) files:

You can import such files (.mfd) using the Playlist Selection display if desired. This automatically creates a .rgt Registration Bank file which contains one registration) for each Music Finder record contained in the .mfd file as well as a Playlist file (.tsv) with which you can call up these registrations. Alternatively, you could of course call up these registrations directly later (in Registration Selection display), i.e. without using the relevant playlist.

I tried it out with your BE MFD and it worked a treat. Over time I'd probably change the styles to ones I (might) prefer but it's great for populating and voices especially. I want to get some sheets into MusicSheets and creating all the registrations seemed a big job until I found out about the MFD to Playlist. This will suit very well, much better than I could do myself.
Good to know to select the Tyros files, I'll do that.

I'm in no hurry, maintenance has to be done. I'm sorry now I hadn't seen the notice, I'd not have asked but just waited. I guess thinking the files were gone just when I discovered they could be useful put me in a little panic!

That's kind Alex, I'm just going to collect the Tyros 4 Fake Book Music Finder files that are there but I don't mind waiting. I understand maintenance has to happen. It was just a moment of panic when I thought they were gone!

The request to Chris for a repost, that file was not on PSRTut, it was off site.
