Hi all,

Got the new 920 and loving it. Just a quick question if I may. Is it necessary to adjust the style volumes each time I select a different style?
I note that the volume differs throughout the volumes.
Also, as a beginner, my left hand is very quiet, and using any kind of accompaniment pretty much drowns out ANY sound I might make with the keys!
Regards
Steve

In general, the answer is yes.

The standard way to handle this to create a registration bank for each song. You can store the style volume in the registration, and never have to worry about it again.

Cheers,

A simple fix is to hit the "mixer/EQ" button to the lower right hand side of the screen
Make sure the word "PANEL" is WHITE in color
Tap the words "Pan/Volume" and make them GREEN
Tap the word "Slider" in the 1st column to the left, it is labeled "STYLE"

Reduce that slider down from 100 to 80 or less.
You should be set to go and play your keyboard

Perfectly agree with Drake.

When I turn on my Genos I select a Registration that I named "MySetUp" and push the Freeze button. This way I have Style volume fixed at 70 (that I consider a good balance between solo Voices and Accompaniment, but one can do any personal choice), together with various other parameters.

Hi Angelo,

I think it is not necessary to use the FREEZE function here, because OTS do not change the currently set STYLE volume anyway.

Best regards,
