Registrations not changing?

Have years of registrations for our group's songs. Recently when I change a registration sometimes it changes as it should, but sometimes it stays on the prior registration, even if I change several times to several other registrations, trying to encourage a registration change somehow. Only a reboot seems to work. Particularly annoying when playing a set. Any help is greatly appreciated!  P.S. I love my Tyros4!

Just to be clear, by "change a registration", you mean moving from one reg to another, as opposed to modifying a registration, right?

I've never had this problem in over 25 years of using registrations. Do you have freeze on? Does the light change from one button to another? Are you changing by pressing the button, or with a pedal?

Could it be that you have changed a registration bank (perhaps unintentionally)? Especially with older keyboards without a touch screen, if you press the registration buttons very quickly, you can easily miss the question of whether you want to save the change. Without realizing it, you then select "Cancel" and nothing happens. At least that's what happened to me sometimes.
