Help: hooking up a mic to my PSR-S950 no longer works.

I've been recording my originals and playing gigs at my church for 3 years on my PSR-950. I haven't been able to do this since last year when my mic with an adapter was bent somehow and now I can't sing through the piano speakers while playing the piano! What do I need to do? I should mention I'm 78yrs old and not very savvy in this area but I still want to record my compositions with my mic plugged in.

I have tried a different cord and a different mic, and it does not work.
