I have a pair of nice old speakers I would like to use with my psr sx700. They each have a 1 inch dome tweeter, a 4 inch mid range,12 inch coned woofer, 12 inch passive radiator. They each have 270 max watts and 80 ohms impedance. Can I do this without using my old receiver? George in Canada

hi Gemor,
You didn't say what type of Sony speakers you have, but I assume they're normal hi-fi speakers. And if I'm right, then I think they're probably 8 ohms (not 80)... which means they're passive (not powered) speakers.
No, you cannot connect these speakers to keyboard -you need an amplifier (or receiver).

Thankyou Bogdan. My receiver has red and white (rca ?) inputs, do they sell the proper wire from the keyboard to the receiver? George

You need to use an external amplifier.

hi Gemor,
Yes, you need to buy a pair of cables which have 1/4" jack connector on one side (for keyboard) and normal cinch connector on the other side (for receiver) -something like this.

Bogdan thanks for the link. I was able to order from Amazon. Be here next week which gives me time to vacuum ugh, the receiver and all the other stuff in the cabinet.  George
