Tyros2 Mic Input Problem

I asked for info on Tyros2 mic input problems but got only reference to SX900 keyboards. What am I doing wrong?
FYI, the site has changed and is not easier to navigate. Probably me. It's been a while.

Please describe your problem with the Tyros2 Mic Input in as much detail as possible, otherwise no one here will be able to help you.
