Hello everyone,

Yesterday it was time again; my annual dose of "Beverly Hills Cop" was on TV and had to be watched. The theme music by Harold Faltermeyer "Axel F" is one of the numbers that I have admired since the film was released in 1984. Here I tried my interpretation.

I'm playing on a Yamaha Genos2 with a Viscount Legend (Hammond) Expander and on a Roland V-Accordion.

Nicely done! The style you used (created) was practically spot on, which helps.

That's the reason I've never attempted this one myself; I never found a style with the correct drums (there are tons of styles out there for the crazy frog remix of this, but not the original Harold Faltermeyer version (anyone who's heard the Top Gun Anthem knows how important the drums are to his iconic scores!)

And programming it from scratch when it's such a syncopated beat is a real headache!

Hello,

I liked the song pretty much. As Mark said, it's important to use the right style to play it. Congrats,
