Good morning, everyone. As mentioned before I am brand new to the forum and have purchased the Genos 2 a few days ago. Can you help me figure out how to get the Genos back to zero parameters after playing a Midi song with registrations so I can use other styles again? Thank you so much for your hkind replays

Maybe this helps? Press《Direct Access》 and then on the display 《Reset Value》 ;)
My best regards,

It's not really clear what you mean. When the song stops playing you are free to select any voices, styles, etc. that you want, whether individually using the panel controls, or by loading a new registration.

NB there's no way to "set it back to how it was before loading the song" if that's what you wanted, apart from by loading a new registration.

Many people have created their own "startup registration" which sets all the key parameters back to what they like as a default (e.g. live control settings, octave settings, style selection, voice selection). Perhaps that's what you are looking for.

Not sure why you need to set it to "zero parameters", whatever that means. Why not just select the next style, or registration, desired?

If you need to reset certain settings, most of us have a setup registration we've created which loads the settings we want (microphone, pedals, etc). You could try that.

Good evening everyone. first of all thank you for giving me good suggestions. What happens to me is as follows:
1. i start an edited midi song in Cubase associated with a style and everything is fine.
1. I edit a second midi file and listen to it from the keyboard.
2. I export the midi file to a USB stick.
3. I play the new song associated with a style but the sounds of the style are all horrible and the style does not sound as it should.
It sounds as if the genos has gone crazy. I have to turn it off and on again to bring everything back to the normal state. That's why I ask how to reset the parameters. In the midi I can do it by entering Control CC121. I hope I have been a little bit clear.

You do your best to explain it, but I can't understand what you exactly mean. The steps are not clearly distinguishable (at least for me). They are also complicated processes. If you have had the Genos2 for such a short time, wouldn't it be better to first master the Genos 2 and then focus on Cubase. For imaging: did you already have had a Yamaha keyboard before this? Have you already worked with Cubase? Cubase and Genos are not the best of friends, although they are both from Yamaha. Actually it seems (or is the case) that Yamaha prefers to keep them separate. Perhaps rightly so. Hardware arrangers versus software arrangers: each has its own target group. Jm2c.  ;)

Is there any possibility you have changed the key?
