Changing voices via ipad/Android

Dear all I saw a very interesting video,  link below. This performer is using a pad to control and change voices. These voices does not sound like they are from sx900.

Could someone please explain what tools he is using here. Both hardware and software

That looks like a Novation Launchpad - it is not clear to me if it is controlling the keyboard or the Mac laptop though.  I guess it could either be
- sending bank select / programme change messages to the PSR
- controlling the Mac which is the sound source and the PSR is just being used as a midi keyboard for note events

Do you have a template (Layout) of the MidiDesigner that appeared in the first part of your tutorial.

It would be a good starting point.

I had already seen that one. I was after a layout with buttons as used by Casper.
