Using an HDMI monitor as a larger touchscreen.

Greetings all.
A week ago I decided to upgrade from my trusty old S970 to the Genos 2, negotiated a favourable price [couldn't opt for trade in as the power button only switches on, & similar to the experience of other owners not off].
My deposit is in & I hope to receive my first top of the range model in the next few weeks, I'm 72 won't be able to justify further purchases as I also have a 1st class 88 key midi controller & stack of N.I., Spitfire, etc samples.
I'm so excited & sort of enjoying this delayed satisfaction, despite some of the negative posts I've read.

My question is:
is it possible to connect a touch screen monitor by HDMI / USB (or another route) to the Genos 2, & so have a larger touch screen for controlling, editing, etc?

Thanks in advance for any advice, guidance, & suggestions for this newbie. I am working my way through the online OM, etc, & using YouTube videos for Tyros, & Genos to inform my progress.

You can use the screen but I dont think it will let you adjust via the screen etc.

hdmi output is for display only, no way to control screen externally.
use external display for viewing and touch screen and buttons for control.,

Has anyone tried connecting a mouse to the Genos2?

If that works, a touch screen might work as well.

Yes the G2 Manual say it only supports USB flash drives (unfortunately no computer mouse/keyboard, USB hub or touch screen display).

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
