New sx900 owner, so I will prob have some questions that I can't find after searching...
for someone that plays live, what is your setup for your Shortcuts and Assignable buttons? can these be saved to recall a set for composing and saving music then changed for live playing?

Yes Just save your set up into a registration bank. Easy to recall

so here's mine (as of today):

voice part-chord looper-live control-assignable-channel-tempo

A mic setting, B Mixer, C metronome, D split point, E Harmony/Arp, F RegBank Info

comments welcome on what you like better... and I saw I can unfreeze the Assignable btns if I want to change those for different Reg's...but I didn't see if I can freeze the Shortcuts thru registration? Do some have different reg's for composing and performing?

Hello,

I think all depends your needs.
I like Half Bar fil-in for some songs... Style part knob too.
Well, depends of the song.

For overall use, I need some quick access to mixer too...

You should save your song preferences in one registration... your needs change when song changes...

Best wishes,
Pedro

Hi Maarkr

As Pedro says it all depends on what your interests etc are.  However for what it's worth I have included what I have as my default.  I have it set in a start up registration, button 10 is set to the factory setting just in case I need it.
Click on the image below to see it in more detail.
