Keith - Think you might mean 'arranger' not 'keyboard'. Yamaha very clearly dominate the overall keyboard markets, with no-one even close.
Not sure that this is correct though even for arrangers, because the seven year old Genos and other arrangers like the SX remained in demand even with new products from competitors. And it wouldn't surprise me if the DGX is outselling the Korg flagship arranger.
I suspect the Genos 2 is well timed. In hindsight, enthusiasts may have wanted it sooner, but Yamaha really didn't need it earlier.
I bet that competitors worry about Yamaha a whole lot more than Yamaha worry about competitors.

I did mean arrangers Mike. I'm quite happy with my 2x SX-700's.
But I'm always looking at new keyboards.
