My name is Jenny, from a little country town in Australia. I am new to the forum, and pretty new to using any kind of electronic keyboard, let alone my fabulous PSR 700. I was trained in classical piano as a child and life took me away from playing keys until about a year ago. I do know my scales and chords, but 'accompanying' someone is a completely new skill I have been learning. After 12 months playing alongside my guitar playing and singing partner we decided to upgrade to the PSR. I am loving it but it does have a pretty steep learning curve. I am getting there, but so glad I found this forum to further help me develop my skills. I need to learn so much to take advantage of everything it does.  I am not so young anymore so it is taking several goes at anything for it all to sink in. I am certainly enjoying the ride.  ;)

Welcome Jenny.
Fortunately you don't need to learn everything these keyboards can do to get a lot from it. You just need to learn what matters to you. Just like computers.
Post any questions and you will almost certainly get excellent and very timely help.

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
