Hello everybody,

there is an updated version (V3.2.0) of MusicFinderView available.
MusicFinderView is a PC editor for Music Finder (*.mfd) files.

As the new version provides some fixes and improvements it is recommended to update to this version.

The main changes are:

    - Added  support for "PSR-SX600", "PSR-SX700", "PSR-SX900", "GENOS".
    - Added "Set all" functions corresponding to the "Clear all" functions and added "all" so some items.
    - Dialog "Edit Items \ Add" is now filled with the data of the current selected line. This makes it easier to copy items.
    - Tempo values are now displayed without leading zeros.
    - Column width is now adjusted if flags are set to "Yes".
    - Initial directories for open, save, import and export dialogs are now stored and initialized.
    - Renamed context menu entry "Set Favorite" to "Toggle Favorite", and also the other two.
    - Changed color of some edit fields in modify and replace dialog from grey to white.
    - Removed warning box at startup.
    - Fixed: Error happened when "Clear Fav" was executed and no line has been seleced before.
    - Fixed some "reset bit" functions.
    - Some minor fixes.

Note:
The newest keyboard models do no more have a Music Finder, they use playlists instead.
These keyboards will automatically converted music finder files to playlists.
For this MusicFinderView can be used to convert/prepare the music finder file from the older keyboard,
before importing it into the new keyboard.

The program should run on all Windows versions (32bit and 64bit) beginning with Windows XP.

It can be downloaded here:

Special thanks to all testers for their support.

If there are any problems or suggestions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Peter

Hello Dick,

what happens if you click on the link in the post and on the link on my website?
Is there any error message?

I tried the links on several machines and they work so far.

What browser are you using and what Windows version?

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

I suspect the problem is that your website doesn't seem to fully support the HTTPS protocol (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure). The relevant download link is e.g. only an HTTP link.

My browser (Firefox 106) first displays a warning message (that the link may not be secure) when I try to download it. However, if I acknowledge an exception, I can still download the file correctly. However, other browsers (depending on the setting) may block access to HTTP links/sites without informing the user.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Hi Chris,

thank you for the hint. You are right.
This is a little bit outdated. I missed this somehow. But nobody complained so far.

I have updated my website. Hope that everything works better now.

Best regards,
Peter

Thanks Peter, it's working perfectly now. :)

By the way, also a big thank you for the new version of your program "PSR Style Database / Midi Database" (V4.9 from August 29th, 2022)!

Best regards,
Chris

Hello Peter, No no error message they just don't open when I click them. I use Windows 10 and Google on a PC. Never hat this before so it must be on my side if nobody else has a problem. Rightclick and copy the link as suggested worked. Thanks for your reaction.
Best regards.
