Hi everyone, with the purchase of the Thomann clone of the Medeli AKX10 I had the problem of mapping the tracks of the styles for direct editing on the keyboard. Let me explain better, Medeli supports the SFF1 format (midi + casm) of the styles, but in order to modify the effects direct on the internal style editor it is necessary that the styles have a configuration such as: channel 9/10 drums (like the yamaha), from channel 11 to 16 all riffs in "Maj7", from channel 1 to 8 the riffs in "minMaj7". Remapping tracks on a sequencer DAW is simple, the problem is remap the CASM. Do you know any FREE utility that can remap both midi and casm data or at least give the user the possibility to do it?

I especially turn to the excellent Jørgen Sørensen who has created excellent utilities if he intends to build a special one.

Thank you very much.

Hi Tony,

this should be able with the "CasmEdit" program (PSR Style Viewer and CASM editor) by Evgeny Osenenko. It's compatible with SFF1 and SFF2 formats. The current version is v3.1.9.1:

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the answer, it is a program that I use in fact..the problem is that it does not do what I ask, that is, remap the channels of the tracks and the CASM, for example, if I have the bass track on channel 8 in Maj7 with CasmEdit i can't change it on channel 11, except if i used a DAW, the same applies and especially for the casm ..

Perhaps 'StyleMagic YA' could do the job.

It's understandable that you want free software, but with StyleMagic you can do this very simply and quickly... it's worth the money.  There are a LOT of good features including an excellent Voice Editor and Drum Editor, and you can add expansion pack Voice lists if you want.

You can download a demo to try out, but there is no SAVE function on the demo, otherwise it is fully functional.

You can do it with CASM Editor from Evgeny Osenenko.
How :
You create the midi parts in your prefered DAW including all Markers needed in a style file.
Then load that midi in CASM Editor and create a CASM by yourself.
