Is it possible to do a bulk delete from Music Finder on my PSR 750. I know how to delete one at a time, but that is laborious.  I'd love to delete about 60 to make room for some  things I do not have on my Music Finder.

I have not had anyone reply to my  post, so I probably asked a silly question.

Hi YammyFan,

You cannot select and delete multiple MusicFinder records at the same time directly on the keyboard. However, you can use the PC program "MusicFinderView":

Use the new full installer made by Peter Wierzba to install the current version 3.1.3 of MusicFinderView in one step:

I recommend doing the following:

- Save your MusicFinder file (.mfd) from the keyboard to a USB stick.

- Then load the .mfd file into MusicFinderView and select the PSR-S750 under "Target Instrument".

- If desired, click on the "Music" header to sort the song titles alphabetically.

- Click on the "Check" button to check ALL records (songs).

- Uncheck the songs you want to delete by clicking on them.

- Click on "File > Save > MusicFinder File".

- In the "Save As Options" window that appears, click the "Checked Records Only" button, and then click the "Save" button. To avoid overwriting the previous file, enter a new or changed file name for the new .mfd file. If you have saved the new file on the PC, copy it to the USB stick.

- Quit the MusicFinderView program.

- Connect the USB stick to the keyboard and import the changed MusicFinder file. (Select REPLACE, not APPEND to replace your old MusicFinder by the new file!)

- Finished!

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
