Not exactly a Genos demo, but a Genos Demo question that might be answered by people that make Genos Demos.

I want to make a Genos Demo, and I was wondering how people are getting their cameras high above the keyboard looking down?

Thanks!

Hi Pincho,

perhaps this video by Alois Müller will help you:
>>> https://youtu.be/VivvtP8eGSk

The video is in German, but you can activate subtitles if necessary and have them automatically translated into the language you want. Alois uses an iPhone 11 Pro with 4k resolution, which is mounted above the keyboard. In his video editing program (Apple Final Cut Pro), he creates several different cutouts of the recorded material (e.g. complete keyboard, only left side, only right side, only display) and uses them to create the video.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Dear Pincho,

I simply take video with my cell phone. In order to have the smartphone look from little above, I put it on a tripod, thank to a not expensive smartphone holder I bought on Amazon (Italian site; but you can easily find on Amazon for your Country).

Here are 2  examples (different views) of what result I get from this setup:
