Hello friends😀 Has any of you used the Ireal Pro app? Is it good?

Would you anticipate that by using this app it would contribute in any way to what you do with your Yamaha arrangers?

It was my music teacher that recommemded it. Personally I hesitate because of my extremely low vision. Young folks nowadays, it is all about apps, Ipads and computers!!

I am not familiar with it, but looking at the website I can see the value for a typical non arranger musician, and why a teacher might recommend it. It's seems a fun practice tool. But teachers are not typically familiar with arrangers and may not realize that an arranger already gives you a lot of these features and maybe more anyway. So I am not sure it would have as much value to you. You can set your arranger to full keyboard mode and just play piano with styles. Or you can load midis and do something similar.
I imagine you already worked this out for yourself anyway.

Thanks Mike😀 That is my impression also. I got a new teacher. He plays accordion, piano, and have used autocomp keyboards. We will see how this works out. It is a little chaotic right now. Hope we can find some system in the lessons when we get to know each other better😀
