Hi, where I can download this midi file: Lewis Capaldi - Someone you loved? Thank you

rock123456789

Are they good for my PSR S770?

Janus

You have to order the midi file in Gm,Gs, or Xg format
Xg is the best for your keyboard it is yamaha format
most pro file got the 3 formats Gm.Gs,Xg
there are 3 resets at the start of the song
Only the xg reset sets  the keyboard in Xg mode
When there is only the Gm or Gs reset the keyboard starts in Gm.Gs mode
You can always add the Xg reset then you can use all the Xg voices
Gm,Gs standaard has only the basic voices
You can always edit the midi and replace it with better voices and effects from your keyboard

Thanks... I have a question for you, why when I play with midi files, the voices on my keyboard have a low volume?
For example, when I choose to play with a classic guitar voice, the volume is very low...

Janus

go to song edit
go to the track with the guitar
set the volume max (128)
save the song
there is also a balans volume between song (midi) an keyboard arranger and keys
Set the balans between them
you find it in the mixer or there are knobs on the keyboard to do that

Maybe I haven't made myself clear, I want to play the midi file with the guitar

Janus

Then you must set the song volume max
There are also setting in the midi file
You can only change them in song edit and after that save the song

Hi rock123456789,

most (commercial) MIDI files are programmed relatively "loud" (relatively high Velocities of the Note events and/or relatively hight Channel Volume values).

I recommend to reduce the SONG Volume (in the Balance display) to a value between 60 and 70. (I always work with a Song Volume of 70.) Then you will have enough "power" for the Keyboard Voices (Right 1/2, Left).

If a Keyboard Voice is already set to 127 (in Balance display), and the Voice is still too low, you can go into the Voice Set of this Voice and increase the "Volume" parameter there. (Most Voices can be made louder with this "trick".)

You can save this altered Voice as a "User Voice" file (using the "Save" option in the "Voice Set" display). Alternatively you can memorize all your current Keyboard Voice settings to a Registration.

Best regards,
Chris

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Don't forget
A midi file takes control over all settings
Best way is edit the midi file
And the best on  computer with sequencer software
Use the midi usb cable and install the usb driver
Go to the mixer and editor and make chances
Save the settings in the midi file

When you use the keyboard then you have to make for every midi files user voices
And a fixed volume at start of a midi file are overruled by settings in the midi file
I remove all settings in a midi file and make a remix with the best voices included mega, live,
and voices in expansions packs
