Hello keyboard players :)

I'm Tony Tyreman and I have a Clavinova CVP609 (and a Korg PA4x)

I also have friends with the Genos, SX900, SX700 and various other PSR keyboards.
We like to share our experiences and help each other out whenever we can.

I also belong to a couple of Organ/Keyboard clubs locally where we have concerts by professional keyboard artistes and also "Free and Easy" meetings where we can play our own keyboards or on the club's Yamaha AR100 organ (at least we DID before the lockdown in March).

I have been playing organ and then keyboards for many years now so I am familiar with some organs and keyboards going back to the seventies. I am also quite tech savvy having used PCs and software programs (apps as they call them nowadays) such as MuseScore, Sibelius and Notation Composer . I have a Windows 10 PC at home and I also use the iPad Pro with Music display apps such as Songbook+ Forscore and Mobile Apps. With the clavinova I also use the V-Console system from John Beesley.

I will be happy to share any knowledge I have here on this forum and I'm glad to have found this place to gain extra knowledge myself on all the Yamaha keyboards. As well as the Clavinova I am particularly interested in the Genos and the new SX (baby Genos) models - I think they are all great!

Looking forward to being an active member!
