Hi Guys, hope you're all fit and well in these trying times. I'm on a big nostalgia trip at the moment and was wondering if anyone could suggest a " one-size-fits -all" style for early Beatles songs, especially album tracks like No Reply, If I fell, I'll be on my way, PS I Love You, And I Love Her, etc.  I would like to make a medley.  Big thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, there is no one size fits all when it comes to Beetles songs because of the diversity of style associated with each song. I suggest downloading my USB drive from https://app.box.com/s/6hygtzvckdnm3e2fbfc7 and going through the styles, of which there are thousands, but some are song specific and listed by song title. Hey Jude immediately comes to mind as one of them.

Hope this helps,

I completely agree.  The Beatles were too diverse for a unified style.

Gary, I took you up on the offer to download your styles. You have a well rounded and comprehensive library. Thank you very much. -Ed L.

Yes, Beatles songs cover a wide range. But there are a few that might be similar enough for a short medley on one style. You could try looking the other way round, find a style you like for one song, and see what other songs reasonably fit with it. 'If I fell' and 'And I Love her ' are a bit similar for example.
Hope you are enjoying the recent tropical weather in Lenzie.
Mike
PS - might be a good idea to sign your posts with a name or nickname. Makes it a bit more personal, and also allows replies to individual posts in a chain of several to be more specific.

Thank you, mikf.  Yes, my idea was a medley of Beatles songs that had basically a similar beat and rhythm and tempo.

Hi lenzieman,

I recommend you to go the "common" way:

Set the TEMPO parameter of the "Style Change Behaviour" (within the Style Settings) to "Hold". Then start with any Style and set the tempo as desired. Now you can go through as many Styles you want in this given TEMPO. (Do not stop the Style when using the mentioned setting "Hold" while searching suitable Style, otherwise the tempo will be retset to the standard.)

You can also set the "Style Change Behaviour" to "Lock" (not available on older keyboard models). Then Tempo is fully locked (even if you stop the Style in between). But you have to change this setting to "Reset" (or "Hold") when you have finished your "Style search session".

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Thank you, Chris for this clever suggestion.

You will find some neat styles in the SM series on the USB stick, including some Beetles songs.

Since I last posted, there have been more than 250 downloads of my USB stick. I hope you were able to find some that fit your needs, especially for Beetles songs.

All the best,
