Hi,

I imported my own Styles as pack to YEM and then connected my PSR-A3000 to Yamaha UD-WL01 USB Wireless LAN Adaptor.

1) My first attempt all of a sudden my computer turned off ( I had it to auto turn off for 30 minutes), but then all of my samples and existing styles wiped out! I am glad I had copies of those!

2) My pack is only 1.2 MB of only styles. How come it says it takes 11 minutes to import them?

Something should be wrong here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks to me like your style pack is way to big for the amount of memory in your keyboard.

11 minutes is not long for YEM, especially on older model keyboards.

Yes. But It's not that old. The internal user memory is only 500MB! I assume my PSR is acting normal.

Thanks guys!

Hi,

I imported my own Styles as pack to YEM ...

Hi CS,

what is the REASON for importing your STYLES into YEM? Normally this is not necessary, but only if certain styles should only be used with the voices of a certain Pack. (Then you could first export this pack (Voices & Styles) as a .ppf pack so that it later works with any LSB.)

If the styles are only for your own use, i.e. you do not want to share the Styles (including the Pack whose Voices the Styles use), it is sufficient to store the styles on a USB stick or in the User drive.

Best regards,
Chris
