ICONS ON FOLDERS

Hi Folks
Is there any way of installing ICONS on folders - not just on files . I can do it in Windows and transferring the FOLDER to GENOS, but the new icon does not show on the GENOS and I haven't found a way of doing it on the GENOS itself.
