I'm still looking for a style that will suit this underappreciated old ballad, When You're Only Lonely by J. D. Souther.

It's a cha cha with a unique shuffle-sound to the snare. Any suggestions are appreciated:

Sounds like the same drummer as Ricky Nelson's Travelin' Man there at the beginning.

Just need to probably silent the RHY1 to get rid of the tambourine beating in the style and slow it down some.

It also sounds like Roy Orbison's song Only the Lonely.
