Anyone heard a specific date that the SX is in the store?

My dealer told me 16-9, without prejudice. So that is not a hard date in any case. So wait another week ... maybe some nice demos will be released .. which will make waiting a bit more enjoyable.

Im in Canada and spoke with the Yamaha marketing manager for Canada and was told middle of Oct for world wide distribution.
I'm like the rest of you hoping its much sooner...

4Sound web site says that we have to pre order psr sx if we want one. That way I'm not abel to try it before I decide buy or not. I still hope it will turn up in the shop for a test.

Hi, I was told maybe end of the month.  My dealer told me if I want one, better order one, before first shipment is  all gone. He normally doesn't keep them in stock though, I have to buy sight unseen, as it's a 3 hr drive just to get to the store.

If I owned an s970/s975, I'd probably want to check it out first, but , my psrs950 goes back a few years , so figure time for an upgrade.

A few Dutch shops say they will deliver in September, while others mention October. And some even don't mention a month, just "t.b.a.". So at this moment, I guess even the dealers don't know it.
