Hello friends :) I am still on a learning curve when it comes to registrations. I have a dumb question:
I saved a multipad in a registration. The pad was on a USB stick. The MP won't work anless that USB stick is in the keyboard. I copied the pad to the user section of the keyboard, but it still needs the USB drive. Do I have to redo the registration? I want the pad to play from the keyboard.

Yes. The registration doesn't know you copied the pad. You told it it was on a USB stick, so that's where it looks for it.

You need to re-memorize the registration, then save the bank.

Just to elaborate on what Fred has explained... before you re-save the registration, select the Multi Pad from the User Drive first so the correct path is saved in the new registration.  Meaning; when you select the new registration, it will "point" to the MP on the User drive instead of the USB stick.

You can't save a multipad "to" a registration. A multipad is saved in a location (internally or USB) and a registration holds a reference to that location. If the location of the pad changes, you'll have to change the registration too.
